Although treating ADHD and ADD with medical marijuana is still controversial, many professionals are saying it is a safer and less addictive alternative to treatment than other drugs regularly used for treatment. Because research is still so limited, it is unclear what method of consumption is best for these disorders. However, using edible marijuana is showing to be more effective, and perhaps less dangerous, than using prescription drugs with amphetamine when treating people with ADD/ADHD.
